GETTING STARTED
Here are the steps required to get the PremiereTrade™ AI software up and running.

Entering Username and Password

When you are ready to use the software double click the PremiereTrade® AI icon on your desktop. The software will load and the Log in box (Fig 1) will pop up.

Insert your Username and Password into the two spaces provided. Select the “Save Login Info” check box if you are on your own computer. This way you only have to enter your password the first time you run the software. Now, left Click the button to enter the software.

Click if you do not want to run the software.

If you have previously saved your login information you will not receive this screen.  You will be taken directly to the Overview Screen.

Changing Username and Password

To access the screen to edit or change your password, from the PremiereTrade™ AI Login Screen, select Edit.

To change your password you must place a check mark in the box above Change Password, then you will be able to input your User ID, Old Password, New Password and then Re-Enter your New Password. Then Select OK.

Select Cancel if you do not want to change your password.

Main Screen Overview

From the Overview screen you can select the type of equity you are interested in trading, the evaluation method you will use, you can access the JDfn™ section of the PremiereTrade™ AI software.

Changing Symbol and Trading Timeframe Intervals

  1. Click on the left tab and select the appropriate stock.
  2. Click on the right tab and select the appropriate trading timeframe for your personal style of trading.
  3. Press Go

Quick Reference Bar

Edit the Quick Reference Bar by right clicking the desired index. You have the option to add times, markets and even stocks to the Quick Reference Bar.

Market Status

The market status (Fig 7) indicator lets you know if the market you are looking at is closed or open.

Settings

File Menu

In the upper left corner of the software you will see four menu selections--File, Disclaimer, Help and About.

Symbols Tab

Click on Settings, the settings menu will appear on your screen. The first tab on the settings menu is the Symbols tab. Here you can add or remove the symbols that appear in the drop down menu on the software. At the bottom of the page there is a box for to add stocks to put in your drop down menu. Click in this box to put a cursor in there to type, then put in the symbol of the stock you want to add to the menu, then next to the box click the Add button to put this on the list above. If you want to remove a stock from this list, click on the stock you want to remove, this will highlight the symbol, then click the Remove button, this will take the stock out of the list. Once all of your changes have been made, click Apply in the lower right corner to save these changes. By clicking in the Lock List box and putting a check mark in it, your list will not be changeable until this box becomes unchecked.

In the Options Tab you can choose if you wish to display all options or only standard options.

The next tab is the Trade Desk settings tab. Clicking on this tab will bring up the general settings menu. SM level stands for share maintenance, if you have a certain amount of shares of a stock you typically like to purchase, you can enter that number here and every time you click to trade the amount of shares will default at this number. Below you can adjust if you want your trade station to automatically log you out after a certain period of time so if you are not in front of your computer your trade account will be secured at the time you set.

The next tab is the Accounts tab, here is where you manage all of your trading accounts stored on the system, both demo and real. You can add a demo account by clicking the Add button at the top.(There is another place in the software that you can do this, and we will go over this process a little later.)

Removing an Account

If you want to delete a demo account, highlight the account you want to remove by clicking on it, and then click the Delete button to the right. This will automatically take this account out of the system and the list. The same goes for the real accounts.

The next tab is the Login Tab.  Here you can add or remove auto login and change your Password.

Auto Login

To set up the software so that you are automatically logged in place a check mark in the box next to Auto Login and fill in your username and password.

If you wish to stop the auto Login process, which means you would be required to fill in the user name and password each time you wish to access the software, remove the checkmark fro the Auto Login box.

Change Password

To change password you must place a check mark in the box above Change Password, then you will be able to input your User ID, Old Password, New Password and then Re-Enter your New Password. Then Select Submit Changes .

After you have completed all of your changes select Apply to save them or select Cancel if you do not want to change your password.

The messaging tab allows you to select if you wish to be shown the message of the day at login.

Alarm

To turn on, modify or turn off an alarm on the left had side of any screen in the PremiereTrade® AI software click on the bell. (Fig 14).

The Alarm system allows the user to set up price levels on stocks, mutual funds, indexes, options contracts and FOREX PIP prices. These can be price rising to or falling to a given price level.  Once the price is reached the user will receive either of three notices.  This section describes the process of setting up the alarm.

When the bell is selected the View Alarm (Fig 15) will appear. This screen allows you to view alarm activity which has been previously set and the features which were selected.  The check mark prior to the symbol indicates this alarm has been triggered.

Selecting the button will display the Create/Edit Alarm (Fig 16) screen where you set up future alarms.

Selecting the dropdown menu under Symbol Type will allow you to select the type of equity for which you are setting up an alarm. (Fig 17).

Selecting the button will allow you to find the exact symbol if you do not know it in the Find Symbol box (Fig 18).

In this box you can select to look up based on the name or a portion of the stock symbol.

Select the way you wish to search for the symbol by left clicking on the circle in front of the way you wish to use.  This will fill the circle. The input the name or part of the name or at least 2 letters for the symbol into the appropriate box, then press .

The results will be displayed in the lower section.

When you see the symbol you wish in the list place your cursor over the symbol and left click.  This will highlight the symbol.  Selecting will place the symbol in the Symbol box.  Selecting will close the screen and return you to Create/Edit Alarm screen.

If you already know the symbol to be used you can enter it directly into the symbol box. (Fig 19).

The condition setting (Fig 20) allows you to specify if you want to be notified if the price of the equity goes up to a value or if it comes down to a value, depending on the direction the price is moving.

When you select the <= if the price goes down to or equals my value let me know.  So of course choosing >= says if the price rises to or equals my price, let me know.

The price box (Fig 21) allows you to set the price, if the equity goes to or beyond, you wish to be notified.

The Based On (Fig 22) allows you to direct if the price the alarm is to activate on should be based on the Bid, Ask or Last price of the equity.

Alarm Options (Fig 23) allows you to select the type of notification you would like to receive when the price reaches the level you had selected. 

You can choose sound, popup or email.  You can also select any combination of two or all three notification instruments.  To select or un-select any choice, place your cursor over the box and left click.  When the choice is selected a check mark will appear in the box.

To choose the audio sound you will hear when the alarm is triggered select the button. When the file menu (Fig 24) appears select the sound by placing your cursor over the sound and right clicking one time, then click the button.

If you have selected to receive an email, you need to select the button.

When you perform this action you will see the email input box (Fig 25). Here you can place your email address.  Once completed, select the button.

If you wish the alarm to activate if the price target is reached during pre-market or post-market trading place a check in the Include Non-market Hours box. (Fig 26).

Once you have the alarm set the way you wish, select the button. If you wish to exit without marking any changes or setting up an alarm, select the button.

If you wish to erase an existing alarm, in the View Alarms screen highlight the alarm to be removed by left clicking on it then selecting the button.

If you wish to edit an existing alarm, in the View Alarms screen highlight it by left clicking on alarm to be edited then selecting the button. Once this action is taken a completed version of the Create / Edit Alarm Screen (Fig 27) will appear.

Make the desired changes then select the button.

If you wish to reset an existing alarm that has already been triggered, in the View Alarms screen highlight the alarm to be reset by left clicking on it then selecting the   button.

To close the View Alarm screen, select the button.

If you selected the Popup option (Fig 28) will display on your computer when the alarm is triggered.

Break Away Charting

On any display where you see a sideway triangle (Fig 29) on the right side, you can click on the triangle to produce a duplicate of the chart. The chart can be sized and set so that you can view multiple charts at the same time. The charts can be different displays of the same stock or similar displays of different stock.  You can open up to eight breakout charts.

Note Pad

In the Favorite Stock window you can open, record, change and save notes. In the upper left hand side of the menu next to the alarm is the icon to open the note pad. (Fig 30).

Selecting the Note Pad icon opens the entry window. (Fig 31).

Here you can add new files, delete existing files and view existing files.

Data Connection Indicator

Internet Connection Traffic Lights

With these indicators, the status of Internet connectivity is determined. When the green light is lit, the connection is working properly. If the yellow light is lit, your connection is having problems and the system is attempting to re-connect. A red light indicates your connection has been lost completely; at this point a pop-up will appear and prompt for an action (Fig 33).

This is the pop-up box that notifies you that your internet connection has been lost. It gives you the ability to work offline with the data stored up to the present time or exit the program. When the connection is automatically re-established you will be notified and can continue your analysis.

How to Access Release Notes

In the software, click the Help tab along the top and then select "Release Notes". (Fig 34.)

Closing Release Notes

The release notes box will pop up displaying all current software version release notes. These notes explain changes, updates and upgrades to the current version of the software. To close the release notes, click OK. (Fig 35.)
