This section will deal strictly with the displays that are unique to options. As we encounter sections that are used in both options and other sections of the software we will direct you to where a detailed explanation of the application can be found.

This is the screen that first appears when the section is selected. The next portion of this tutorial
will instruct you on the various features of the options
module.

This is where you select the options strategy that you are considering for a trade. The selected strategy will display in red.
Use the to view additional strategies.
To move the display order of the strategies place your cursor over any strategy button and right click. Select the Add/Remove Strategies button.

Here you can add, remove and arrange the position of any strategy on the list.

Expiration

This section allows you to select the DTE (days to expiration) that you are considering. Only the months with options available for the selected stock will display in the dropdown menu.
Strategies that use only one expiration date are displayed as in section A. Strategies that use two expiration dates are displayed as in section B.
The terms Long and Short in section B refer to the buying and selling of options in a calendar spread. The reference is to whether the option will be bought (Long) or sold (Short), and not the length of time that the option position is planned to be held open.

Chain
This section displays various strike prices and other strategy-related data available for the month and strategy selected.
Scroll
Bars
Example A allows you to scroll vertically and allows you to display additional strike prices, if available. Example B allows you to scroll horizontally and allows you to display additional information on the strike price selected.
Price
Display
The yellow bar indicates the current price of the stock and will display where it falls within the option chains.
Option
Chains
When Trade Desk, Support & Resistance, JDfn, or Money Management have been selected from within the Options section, pressing the button will return the display to the options chains.

Maximize Button
Pressing this button will remove the information and show all of the information on the option chains. Pressing the button again will return the screen to its original configuration.
